Standing true to its purpose SWET today runs this institutions under the flagship of Asian Public School-a congregation of over 1500 students pursuing diverse programmes. Within a short span of 8 years it has carved special niche for itself.
Asian Public School with it's bucolic and sylvan surroundings far from the madding crowd have been set up by Sumit Welfare and Educational Trust. The founder of school is Mr Ram Kumar Lohia. The school functions under the effective and fruitful guidance of our Managing Director Mrs BhartiLohia. Mrs Archana Chaudhary heads the institution. It is a co-educational English medium school which provides schooling from pre-nursery to senior secondary level. The school came into existence in the year 2001 and started with a modest strength of 67 students classes ranging from P.N to IV. In the year 2007 the school was upgraded to class X and in year 2009 to XII. The school as is expected aims at a healthy and all round growth & development of children. The children are motivated & inspired to achieve nothing but the best.
Ms. Vandana Banga has recently joined Asian Public School as a Principal. She has a close to 20-year experience and has served some very reputed educational institutions in a number of leadership roles.
She holds a Master of Science Degree in Physics with a specialisation in electronics along with a degree in Bachelor of Education from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi!
Ms. Banga is also the Joint Secretary of Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT) - Delhi and Haryana Region and a member of Delhi State Science Teachers' Forum. She has been actively involved in teacher training, curriculum designing, content writing, lesson planning etc through out her career. She has also been a science resource person of IAPT, BVN-Anveshika and SCERT Haryana. She was recently awarded for her outstanding contribution in the field of education by Centre of Educational Development Delhi.
Ms. Banga firmly believes that education is nothing but the training of head, heart and hands to bring out the best in an individual. She trusts that every child is unique and capable to learn and excel but each learns in a different way and at a different pace. Having a positive environment and keeping the lines of communication open among staff, students and parents can surely help every child bloom and every educational organisation grow. With this vision and mission, she is determined to give her best to the Asian School family.
