A street play on highlighting literacy was staged by the students of VII-A & VII-B in the school premises. The theme was subtle and the players played their parts to their full potential. It was a light hearted play which was hailed one and all.
Another “Street Play” on ‘Avoid Polythene’ was staged by the students of IX-A & IX-B. It evoked positive response from the students and they pledged to avoid using polybags. The brains behind the entire idea were those of Ms Gargi, Ms Sushila and Mr Lakhanpal.
Tree Plantation Campaign
Earth the blue planet on which we live, needs our help to survive. To make the students aware of the plight of the earth the tiny tots of classes Pre-Nur to 2nd held a tree plantation campaign in the school premises/ facts were told about our ailing planet and the students were asked to do whatever they can for “Mother Earth”.
The mothers were provided with an opportunity to showcase their talents. they too prove their merit by participating in the events with much zeal and enthusiasm. They proved their dancing, culinary and singing skills and went on to win prices.
Their deep love for the life giver was expressed in a sincere and innocent way.
Annual sports day was celebrated with great pomp and show on the 22nd of December 2012, Saturday. A number of events took place ranging from flower plucking race for tiny tots to 400 meter for boys and girls. The turnout was huge and support and encouragement generated was unbelievable. The excitement of the students could not be contained. The day was peppered with a host of cultural activities which added a new colour to the extravaganza. The show turned out to be a runaway success.
